Steve Johnson went six strong innings and the O's offense backed him up in an 8-2 win over Toronto on Saturday night at Camden Yards.
Johnson (2-0) allowed two runs in the first before settling down to pitch five scoreless frames. He allowed just four hits and two walks while striking out seven.
J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones and Matt Wieters had two RBIs each...Hardy doubled and homered in the game.
The O's go for the sweep on Sunday afternoon...Chris Tillman is slated to take the mound.
